Ultra quick vegan breakfast

An ultra quick vegan breakfast or dessert when you’re on the go – no oatmeal, ready in 1 minute

I know that for a lot of vegans choosing a breakfast is a bit of a hassle. Traditionally lots of people choose eggs or milk-based breakfast options. Or, most often – oatmeal. You can substitute those with a tofu scramble or dairy-free milks most days. However, for when you don’t have the time – check out my ultra quick vegan breakfast!

Ingredients

  • One ripe banana
  • Handful of raw walnuts or other nuts of your choosing
  • One tbsp tahini

Preparation

As you can see, this is a ultra quick and easy recipe. It’s not really a recipe as much as it is a suggestion of what you can make in under a minute for a quick snack or breakfast.

  1. Cut the banana in circle pieces, throw in a bowl
  2. Chop some raw nuts – I used walnuts
  3. Pour a tablespoon of tahini on top – you can substitute with your favorite spread, peanut butter or anything of your choosing
  4. Devour!

This recipe is gluten and sugar-free. Also, it’s very versatile. You can make so much variations with the same basis. For example, you can use all kinds of nuts you like – or, maybe dried fruit.

You can pick another fruit as well. Banana’s easy and I almost always have one at home. But you can also use apple or anything you like. The nut spread can be peanut butter, almond butter or my personal favorite – tahini spread.

Don’t be afraid to pile up that tahini spread!

Go crazy with the ideas – it’s an amazingly versatile, ultra quick breakfast or snack. You can also offer it as dessert – I assure you that everyone will like it!
